2010 Schedule

We now have a new primary website. This one will be updated also for now as it's the one which most peopole have linked to and Google send people to but if you go to the following Worpress link there is a better one.

We have decided to cut back on our previously fortnightly 'Writer's Reading' events to the last Friday of every month for the Summer. So that means the next one is on Friday 28th May in Berry's Tavern from 9pm as usual.

We have here begun to sketch out what you can expect from us at this years 'Written Word Weekend'. This is as much for ourselves as you. Any names listed have been confirmed. There will be quite a few additions made to this schedule over the coming months. Any ideas for what you would like to see here yourselves please send us your suggestions.

The next 'Writer's Reading' is on Friday 12th March in Berry's Tavern, Drumshanbo from 9pm. The theme will be 'The Ides of March' if you feel like like bringing work on this subject. As ever feel free to read what you like, your own or others work. Listeners welcome too.

Our next 'Writer's Reading' is on Friday 26th February in back bar of Berry's Tavern in lovely Drumshanbo as usual. No tricky themes this time, bring what you want to read, your own or others work. All types of writers, poets etc welcome and listeners too. Spread the word.

Our monthly event now twice as often

Our last 'Writers Reading' event went very well for us. So well it was decided we should do it more often to have more of a momentum for people to produce work to that deadline. So if you can remember, we will be having it from now on on the second and last Friday of every month. So that means the next one will be on Friday 12th Feb. Usual time and venue, 9pm in Berry's Tavern, Drumshanbo. See you there, new people always very welcome to read their own work or otherwise and also to listen.

12th Feb theme is 'Love and Squalor'. No theme planned for 26th Feb.
